£200 additional support for oil users

Households using oil or other alternative fuels may be entitled to a £200 payment on top of the £400 already received through their electricity supplier. Most homes that are eligible for this payment will get it automatically as a credit on their electricity bills from February 2023. If you have not received this payment, you can check if you are eligible and apply at www.gov.uk. You cannot apply if you’ve already received an Alternative Fuels Payment. Applications should be made before the deadline of 31 May 2023.
